Clean Up

Denizen had dowsed the ley lines for decades following the clues to the depths of this ancient ruin. Behind the wall slept the army of his brethren. He reached towards the barrier.

"Smite him before he hits you again." The angel commanded her.

"Smite him!  I will strengthen you.  Lift the sword and plunge it into his evil heart."  The angel demanded.

She looked down helplessly at the butter knife on the table.

Friends

Suzy hid her clunky boots, jealous of the girl in front of her flaunting her tiny, trendy feet on the rail.  Suzy didn't make friends.  Girls found her odd, with a funny laugh, and unusual interest in dragons instead of boys.

Aliens

Ezekiel watched the ship descend into the desert balanced on the tongue of flame and fury. The whipping sands sparked lightning that flashed and cracked in the cloud. The roar was deafening.  Scarves and goggles protected the team from the blasting sand.
